About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Associate ADHD and Autism Coach for our assessment and treatment service for children, young people and adults across the UK.
You will be delivering 1:1 and group coaching to our patients and their families; working alongside our prescribers, clinical leads and safeguarding team, within our clinical governance framework.
This is a remote (UK-Wide) role offered on a contractor basis with flexible sessions of a minimum 4 per week.
About Us
Lighthouse Pathways is a CQC-registered neurodevelopmental assessment and treatment service. We assess and treat children, young people and adults with ADHD and Autism.
Many of our patients want practical support after diagnosis, whether or not they take medication. We are building a small team of associate coaches to help them thrive at home, at work, in school and at university.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Deliver structured 1:1 coaching (typically 6–12 sessions) to adults, young people aged 11+ and parents
- Focus on executive function, time and task management, emotional regulation, routines, and understanding a new diagnosis
- Support patients through key transitions: starting university, returning to work, career change, exam years, parenting
- Deliver Access to Work-funded workplace coaching, including reasonable-adjustment recommendations and progress reports
- Run or co-facilitate group programmes and drop-ins, such as post-diagnosis and parent groups
- Record sessions in our clinical system within 48 hours using our templates
- Recognise risk and safeguarding concerns and escalate them promptly
- Work within coaching scope and refer back to our clinical team when needed
- Attend monthly group supervision
Essential Criteria
- A recognised ADHD or neurodiversity coaching qualification (for example ADDCA, ADD Coach Academy, or an ICF/EMCC/ILM-accredited coaching qualification with ADHD specialism)
- At least 200 hours of 1:1 coaching with neurodivergent clients
- Good working knowledge of ADHD and autism, including co-occurring conditions and late diagnosis
- Professional indemnity insurance (minimum £1m) and ICO registration
- Enhanced DBS (with children's barred list for work with under-18s), or willingness to obtain one
- A reliable, private remote set-up
Desirable Criteria
- Experience as an Access to Work supplier
- Coaching experience in a CQC-registered or NHS setting
- Parent coaching, education or SEND background
- Autism-specific coaching or DSA Specialist Mentor (ASC) experience
- A coaching supervision qualification
- Experience delivering training to schools, universities or employers
- Lived experience of neurodivergence
